Privacy Policy

This page explains what information SafeBabyGear collects, how it’s used, and the choices available to you. Last updated: August 20, 2026.

Overview

SafeBabyGear (“we,” “us,” or “this site”) publishes safety-focused parenting content for U.S. parents and caregivers. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to safebabygear.in and does not cover third-party sites we link to.

SafeBabyGear is currently operated by an individual, not by a registered company, LLC, or corporation. The operator’s specific legal jurisdiction has not yet been finalized; this policy does not state one, and will be updated once that is confirmed. No public mailing address is provided for this site at this time. For privacy-related questions, use the contact method listed in the Privacy Contact section below.

Information You Provide to Us

If you use the on-site contact form, the information you submit — your name, email address, and message — is sent to SafeBabyGear and used to respond to your inquiry. You can also contact SafeBabyGear by emailing us directly (see our Contact page) — any information you choose to include in that email, such as your name or the content of your message, is received at our email inbox like any other email.

If commenting is enabled on any article, WordPress’s standard comment form asks for your name and email address before a comment can be posted.

If you sign up for SafeBabyGear email updates using the signup form on the homepage, we collect the email address you provide (and your first name, if you choose to share it) so we can send you SafeBabyGear updates. We do not sell this information to advertisers or other third parties. If you no longer want to receive these emails, you can contact us at [email protected] to ask us to stop.

Information Collected Automatically

As with most websites, our hosting environment and the software that runs this site (including performance and caching tools) may automatically log basic technical information, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security, performance, and troubleshooting purposes. This site uses Google Tag Manager to manage tools such as Google Analytics; as of the date of this policy, that tracking is paused, and Google Analytics/Google Tag Manager are not actively collecting data on this site. This may change in the future once appropriate consent controls are in place, and this policy will be updated to reflect that. We do not currently use advertising pixels, such as a social-media or ad-network pixel, on this site.

Cookies

This site uses a small number of functional cookies related to caching and performance, which help pages load faster and are not used to build advertising profiles. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, described above, are not currently active on this site, so they are not currently setting analytics cookies. If that tracking is turned back on in the future, it may set analytics cookies or similar identifiers in your browser to help us understand site usage, and this policy will be updated accordingly. As of this writing, we do not use dedicated advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Third-Party Services and Outbound Links

This site is built on WordPress using a number of plugins, including page-building and site-performance tools, along with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager as described above. These tools process data only as needed to provide their function.

Some pages on this site link to third-party retailers or products, and some of those links may be affiliate links, as described in our Affiliate Disclosure. When you click an outbound link and leave this site, the destination site’s own privacy policy applies, not this one.

Children's Privacy

SafeBabyGear is written for parents and caregivers, not for children. This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data Retention and Your Choices

If you email SafeBabyGear, you may ask us to delete that correspondence by contacting us again with that request. SafeBabyGear does not currently have formal, owner-defined retention periods for emails, server or security logs, or other data described in this policy. Where a third-party service we use — such as our hosting provider or Google Analytics — retains data under its own settings or policies, that retention is set by that service, not by SafeBabyGear.

For privacy-related questions or requests, contact SafeBabyGear at [email protected].

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the site or its functionality changes. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
